I wanted to weigh myself to get a realistic view of where I was at. I haven’t been following the diet very well the past couple of weeks and I was pretty sure I had done lots of damage.
Much to my surprise, I had lost more weight!

Today would have been day #44 of my South Beach diet. As you can see, I haven’t posted a daily food entry in over a week. We went out of town over the 4th of July weekend and 1) I was unable to post easily and 2) the diet was broken here and there.

After 4 weeks on (pseudo) Phase 1 – I ate some fruit here & there and was eating yogurt and had some set backs some days – I think I will move on to Phase 2 and begin to introduce bread & rice (brown) on a limited basis.

I did the 3rd weigh-in today because I will not be home tomorrow morning. It looks like I lost 2 pounds! Yay me!
Current weight: 178
Breakfast: few bites of cheddar cheese
Snack: yogurt
Lunch: Subway tuna salad
Dinner: pork chop, fried plaintains, and corn on the cob

I did my second weigh-in today, but of course since I had gotten ahead of myself and weighed-in on Thursday, there wasn’t any change since Thursday. So, I’m still at 180.
Breakfast:
1 slice turkey bacon
2 slices turkey deli meat
1 orange

I cheated a little bit and weighed myself this morning. I was feeling like I had lost something and feeling less bloated, so I just thought I’d check. Even though I was only going to do weekly weigh-ins on Sundays.
