		<description><![CDATA[I wanted to weigh myself to get a realistic view of where I was at. I haven&#8217;t been following the diet very well the past couple of weeks and I was pretty sure I had done lots of damage.
Much to my surprise, I had lost more weight!

<p>It might also have something to do with the stomach virus I&#8217;ve had since Friday and the fact that I haven&#8217;t been eating much other than Lipton and crackers, but still.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><br /><p>Today would have been day #44 of my South Beach diet. As you can see, I haven&#8217;t posted a daily food entry in over a week. We went out of town over the 4th of July weekend and 1) I was unable to post easily and 2) the diet was broken here and there.</p>
<p>It hasn&#8217;t been completely thrown out the window but over the last week there have been days where I&#8217;ve had sweets, carbs, etc. I&#8217;ve tried to limit it to only 1 meal though and make up for it with the next meal of the day.</p>
<p>But, this week, I resolve to get back on track. I will need to do a Phase 1 week pretty strict to get back into it.</p>
<p>Weighed myself (though I didn&#8217;t really want to see the damage) and was actually surprised to see not much of a difference.</p>
<p>Weight: between 176-177 (my scale sucks)</p>
<p>Breakfast: 4 oz <a href="http://www.lightnfit.com/products/light_and_fit/carb_sugar_control.html" target="_blank">Dannon Light &amp; Fit Carb &amp; Sugar Control Yogurt</a></p>
<p>Lunch: Steak ‘n Shake <a href="http://www.steaknshake.com/menu/salads.asp" target="_blank">Beef Taco Salad</a> &#8211; minus the taco shell, dressing, and sour cream &amp; <a href="http://www.kraftfoods.com/jello/products/gelatin/sugar-free-low-calorie-snacks/" target="_blank">Sugar Free Jell-O</a> cup</p>
<p>Snack: cheddar cheese stick</p>
<p>Snack 2: some crackers (aaaackkk&#8230;I already broke my <em>strict </em>promise)</p>
<p>Dinner: chicken &amp; salad</p>
<p>Snack 3: Fiber one cereal</p>
<p>And, then, I COMPLETELY broke my promise and had a moment of weakness and ate out of emotion. We had a phone call that kind of upset us and I had a cupcake!!!! A stupid leftover cupcake.</p>
